Progress!

I was starting to get super nervous because I hadn’t heard from the embryologist since Monday but I finally did, with pictures!

We had 9 eggs, of which 5 were mature enough to be fertilized. 4 of them have started developing and she says they are dividing well (the 5th just didn’t respond). So, that’s something! I won’t feel fully at easy til day 5 but I’m trying to take every update that isn’t “too bad!” as a victory.

True story: I had to go to the office to pick up a prescription and I gave my embryos a little pep talk from the car. Obviously, I know this does nothing, but I’ll probably keep it up. 😂
