Uteran Fibroid during pregnancy

At my 12 appointment they did an ultrasound (after dr couldn’t locate heartbeat via Doppler), and discovered a fibroid growing on the top of my uterus. Baby is fine, about 5.5 cm. The fibroid is 8 cm in diameter. Dr said it grows and feeds off pregnancy hormones and that it’s good to be aware of but nothing much to do about it and that it usually doesn’t cause problems. Anyone else have a large fibroid growing during pregnancy? Fibroid is large left dark spot and uterus is bottom right in photo.
