When should I make plans? (read description)

my girlfriend keeps saying that I make too many last minute depictions but I give her at least an hour or day notice bc I kinda just roll with the punches.. So when should I give my girlfriend notice on plans

In my personal opinion it depends on the plan or event. Anywhere from a week to the day before I would say is a window. Some people have a hard time adjusting to change and last minuet decisions are hard to accept. My husband is that way.

Me and my SO have this problem because he very much plans a day or so in advance, whereas I plan a week or more in advance. So while on Monday I'm thinking what should we do at the weekend he barely knows what he's doing in Tuesday night. We've had to compromise a lot lol. He's good if it's something like going to see a show or something that's pre booked but when it comes to just going over its often on the day
