What would you do with a package that was delivered to your door but isn’t yours ?

So that woman’s name was similar to mine so I though it was mine I kinda tore it from one side the realized it wasn’t my package and the address was completely different what do I do with it should I try to take it too where it belongs or have amazon deal with this I’d rather have amazon deal with it cuz we have lots of little kiddos like I don’t have time driving around looking for that address 🤦‍♀️

Let amazon deal with it. I just had this happen but it was ups, I called and they sent someone out immediately get it.

Return to sender. I might try taking it to a post office and explain what happened ... maybe they could send it back out.

I get packages for a guy on the other side of my town (our addresses are similar), normally if his phone number is listed I call him and put the package in a safe spot for him to pick up.

This happens all the time in my neighborhood, we just take it over to who it belongs. If not though I would contact the carrier.

if its an address from my area, id bring it to their house

Return it it to post office/UPS/FedEx/etc. Tell them it was delivered to the wrong address and you accidentally started to open it, but didn't tamper with anything.
