First and Only Pregnancy
Hello to all my high risk mamas, I came to ask for some stories or personal experiences about any of the risks that have been found in my pregnancy. This month has been particularly challenging so some hope would be nice if possible.
I've currently been diagnosed with Marginal Cord Insertion, Polyhydramnios and Gestational Diabetes. I have no idea how these three interact with each other aside from GD I creasing amniotic fluid. I've only seen an MFM for diagnosis of the cord and amniotic fluid. I have not been told the amount of fluid I have, my son's growth has stopped at 5lb 6oz at 34 weeks.
I have one problem...I was diagnosed with GD after only having my 1 hour test, I've been testing 4 times a day since and all of my values have come back normal for someone without diabetes. How long should I track these values before presenting them to my doctor and requesting different testing be done to determine the reasoning for the excess fluid? Is it late enough in the pregnancy to not be concerned about the excess?
