Dry during sex?

Hi there!
Has anyone ever had dryness during sex? My bf and I had sex maybe 3 times and the first time I was pretty normal but the next 2 times we had sex I was getting pretty dry. 
I definitely get aroused by him in every way but then once we get into sex I get dry. 
Any idea why? Or what I could do? I haven’t had sex in over a year so maybe that’s why? But as of late even after trying to fool around with myself (sorry for the tmi) I’m still pretty dry then too. 
Since the first time we slept together I’ve been dry lately....any ideas?

Dryness can be for many reasons. Dehydration, lack of clitoral stimulation which is what actually makes you wet, birth-control can dry you out, maybe try adding some water-based lube like an Astro glide, nothing that heats up or is flavor, that’s an infection waiting to happen. Could also be a side effect of the medication that you were taking. But often times that usually birth-control if you’re taking it. Keep yourself hydrated, and add some lube and you should be OK, it may not even be that he’s not doing something, it could just be your body reacting to something that you were taking. Just be preventative and prepared for next time at all it’s not that you’re not turned on by him, it’s a physical reaction to probably something that is going on in your body, it could be a hormonal issue even, or I have body isn’t responding properly do your thyroid or pcos or endometriosis etc. good luck. ￼

It happens to me often! We use lube from the start or if I notice I’m getting dry we just stop and put some on

You can try more foreplay. I'm always dry unless we have at least 30 minutes of foreplay. it takes me a long time. Good thing there's lube
