Is your baby in their own room yet??

I know the official recommendation is 6 months to a year but everyone has different circumstances.

Our little one is in her own room in her own crib. She was OVER the bassinet and I’ve read studies that show babies sleep better in their own room at four months. We live in an apartment, her room is right next to ours (might as well be in the room with us) and we have both doors open and the monitor beside our heads. She definitely sleeps much better in her own crib and my husband snores (loudly) so she’s not being disturbed by that anymore!

We are also going to try transitioning tonight, and I’m going to sleep on the reclining chair haha. Our original plan was to wait until 1 year but our bedroom is just too small for his crib and he is way too big for his bassinet— at this point we have no choice. Our paediatrician said it is totally fine.

Yes. She is 4 months old. We have an old house with very squeaky floors and a squeaky box spring mattress. I could not pee with out her waking up at night. She already did naps in her bed so it wasn't too bad of a transition. She is a much happier baby now.

We moved baby at 3 months to her crib in her room. It was surprisingly an easy transition.

We just switched from a bassinet to a playpen 2 night ago. He’ll sleep in the playpen in our room until he’s one.

Starting next week I think! We’ll start the transition it’s me on an air matress
