Unfortunately most men know that women do not want to be alone and they use that to their advantage to get away with murder, ￼or they want to stay together for the sake of the kids, or because they are financially dependent on him, or because it’s too much of a hassle to go through a divorce, they can’t afford divorce, Or they don’t have a support system to go home too, division of assets, they own a home and they own a car they have many bills and debt in both names, alimony, child support, unfortunately a lot of women don’t walk away because they think that that was the best that they were going to get or they feel they deserved it or they feel that they did something wrong, lo and behold the guy was using guilty manipulation to get what he wanted. She now feels brainwashed, and feels that she’s not enough and wants to do more to fix the problem like she’s the problem when it’s actually him. And even if he wasn’t happy he probably should’ve ended the relationship rather than cheat, or he wanted to see what he could get away with, the what if‘s, have his cake and eat it too, the temptation is real, whether it’s online or in person. And the only reason that a man stays is because he chooses to stay, he chooses you daily, and to honor the commitment that he made to you. Once cheating has happened, the trust is gone, she will doubt everything that he says and where he goes and who he’s with, eventually it becomes completely draining, and eventually she wants to walk away, or she is so abused and manipulated that she doesn’t think she deserves any better and just tolerates whatever so that she won’t be alone. Another reason could be because her family already told her that guy was probably a jerk, and she wanted to prove them wrong, and she would rather suck it up, then here I told you so and the guilt from them. She probably thought he would change or hoped he would, there was probably already red flags, but she didn’t want to see them. Instead of counting red flags like they were a dozen roses, and waking up to the reality that she deserved better. Unfortunately sometimes it takes multiple times before she wakes up to the reality of it unfortunately.￼￼￼

The logic I find behind staying with a cheating husband is that you’ve built a family together? And you want to work on perfecting it again? Who knows tbh but one thing for sure is, for whatever reason someone may stay after being cheated on they shouldn’t be shamed for it. It’s their choice.
