I heard my coworker say the word “nig” I understand it isn’t politically correct but I didn’t know what to say or how to react to this. She immediately began saying that she isn’t prejudiced and her friends say it’s fine as long as it doesn’t have the harsh R or some bs. Smhhhh.

I’m not prejudiced but I say a nasty derogatory word used for centuries to insult an entire race 🤔. If u didn’t feel comfortable putting her in her place, at least report her for using such disgusting, disrespectful language.

Pro tip: when someone says or does something racist, then explains to you how they arent really racists, theyre a racist.
I would report her to HR and let her explain to them how with thousands of other words she could of chose to use one so offensive.

I was driving my grandparents somewhere and before I pulled out of their driveway my grandmother dropped  “that word” I slammed the breaks look her in the eyes and told her I never want to hear that again I don’t like it!
Well so-n-so uses it.
I don’t care I don’t like it!
I have always hated that word and any form of it. I would tell your coworker that you are not comfortable with the way she says it
