When's the earliest doctor will do a membrane sweep?

Is it 38 weeks or 39? I got it done at 39 last time but I never asked before that 🤔. It worked for me btw I went into labor the next night.

But at 37 I was already 2cm . By 38 I was 3

When I was 38 weeks i asked my doctor about the membrane sweep and she told me that they don't do it until 39 weeks. At my 39 week appointment I had it done and had him at 39 weeks 3 days.

My doctor last time wouldnt do it until 40 weeks or later. I'm holing this new doctor I have will do it sooner. 😫 I haven't really heard of them doing it before 39 weeks unless avoiding inducing, for a medical reason.
