Pre-eclampsia
So it's more than likely I'll have pre-eclampsia with this pregnancy. I had the beginning stages of it with my first, but I was around 35 weeks when my blood pressure started to be higher than it should. This time, I'm only 9w4d and my blood pressure is too high and there's protien in my urine. I'm already getting horrible headaches. Today my heart rate spiked for no reason at work and I felt like I was going to pass out.
But I don't know how to tell the difference between normal headaches and ones I should be concerned about with pre-eclampsia. My doctor should be calling me within the next few days to go over blood work and my 24 hour urine analysis. I have my first ultrasound on Friday. My doctor is already considering me high risk.
I have a very high stress job, but today my heart rate spiked when I wasn't doing anything. My husband believes it only has to do with what I eat and stress doesn't play a factor into pre-eclampsia 🙄 I already try to limit my sodium intake and I'm trying to drink 72oz of water a day, if not more.
