First period? Mini pill

I spotted Monday and Tuesday, very crampy Wednesday but no blood. Is this my first period just on the mini pill?

Answer

First side effect of the mini pill listed is "abnormal vaginal bleeding" it's known to cause a lot of spotting. My doctor warned me and actually discouraged me from taking it (luckily I didn't have issues) Doesn't sound like your period but just pill side effects.
