Birthday party at park?

My boy is turning two his last birthday we did at home but we have since moved to an apartment and we don't have enough room so we picked a park I'm really nervous about it how to decorate making sure we get one of the covered areas does the park even sound like a good idea I hate Im questioning this 2 weeks before his birthday🙄

Personally I wouldn’t have a party this year but since that’s what you want to do I agree that a park is a good idea.
At some parks you can’t reserve the covered tables so you would need someone to go down to the park as soon as it opens which is usually 5-6am and then stay there until the party gets going. If you have someone who’s willing to do that the only thing left is decorations and food. Some balloons, tablecloths, streamers and maybe even a bubble machine and you’ll be good to go. Just get there early to reserve your spot. Get some fun plastic table cloths and some balloons and that should be enough decor.
