Is it chickenpox?

Our 12 month old has been a little sick the last 4 days, super runny nose, sneezes and light cough. We figured just a cold. Last night during her bath I noticed one little spot under her arm, looked like a little pimple. This morning she has another two and the one under her arm has a pink, circle around it now. Could this be the start of chickenpox? We are monitoring her temp but so far no fever.

It actually does look kind of like it.  Did she have the chicken pox vaccine recently?  Some kids can develop a mild case from it.  Quarantine at home until you’ve seen the doctor and know for certain

I guess its possible. I’d call in to your pediatrician for a checkup to be sure it’s not a spider bite or something else.

Can be. But. I suggest a doctor. Because the smaller the kid, the smaller the chickenpox blisters. My sisted wa about three when she had it, and they were barely visible, much smaller red dots. At the same time I was 15, and I had full on blisters. My younger brothers had similar spots as your one year old. (we got cp all the same time, as kids, and I was the eludest at that point I still have scars from it)
