Round Ligament Pain

I'm sure many woman have posted this question but how painful were your round ligament pains and muscle pains? I'm 15 weeks today and they take my breath away at times. I have no spotting or bleeding but I feel like they're really sharp period cramps and they last most of the day but pick up more at night. This is my first baby so I'm not sure what's normal. I also work on my feet 8+ hours a night so maybe that makes it worse? I have a doctor appointment Monday so I'm trying to stay calm. Just would like some advice on if this is a normal amount of pain or if I should be concerned. Thank you!
