Couch cleaning ??

Question

I have a fabric couch .. and this weekend we got pizza. wel the box was covereddddd in grease from the garlic bread, which we didn’t realize until the box was taken off of the couch 
now it just smells like garlic horribly and i have no idea how to clean it or get the smell out ?? Any tips

We have Stanley steamer come through once a year to shampoo all of our fabric furniture, rugs, and carpet. Their equipment is much stronger than anything that can be bought or rented, and not gonna lie, it grosses me out that so many people don’t get things like that professionally cleaned.

I bought this after my son’s first stomach flu accident and now I absolutely love using it on my couch!  I usually wash the covers for the back cushions in the washing machine, but I clean all of the seat cushions with this and it works amazing! It’s super portable and easy to use. For some reason I can’t find the new version, but bissell makes another portable carpet cleaner that would probably work well for a couch.

If it’s the cushion I’d just take it to the dry cleaners. It’s around $20 to get it cleaned and you don’t have to deal with it. I’ve had to clean cat urine out of my couch cushions more than once and was so much easier to have someone else take care of it
