Tailbone pain??

Anyone else have pain in their tailbone/upper butt area? I delivered on the 15th and get super sore and am in pain if I sit for any length of time on this part of my butt😩
Any ways to relieve the pain? Or do I need to see a specialist??

You should let your doctor know. I had tailbone pain with my first and it ended up being a fractured tailbone from delivery, you might need and X-ray to confirm.

It’s awful! Thank had it with my first and now experiencing it with my second. I had c sections so i think mine is from sitting so much 😩

I had this with my first and it was really painful! Every doctor I told mentioned that it could have been the baby delivering in a weird position or a fractured tailbone but the only thing to do is rest. It lasted for a good 4-6 months. However, with my second pregnancy,  i kept feeling what I thought was sciatic nerve pain so I went to a chiropractor. Come to find out, my sacrum bone was twisted! I went twice a week for my last 6 weeks of pregnancy and haven’t had an issue! I would say if you are open to it, go see a chiropractor for an adjustment. They should do an X-ray before treating you which would confirm. It was a total game changer for me!! Good luck and hope you feel better!

I’ve also heard that a hemorrhoid pillow can help?? Like a donut shaped pillow. Idk where you get one though, I haven’t looked!

Yup! I delivered on the 21st. My tailbone/right hip is also the one area that the first epidural didn’t work on. At this point I’m just trying to stay off it when I can (lay down instead of sit), hot showers, and ibuprofen!
