Should I not be upset

I’ve been talking to a guy online for 5 weeks and I really like him we started dating 2 weeks today I asked him if we are okay and he said long distance is hard on him it’s hard on me to but I’m trying I think he wants to break up with me and I keep thinking it’s my fault because I’m to ugly or annoying for him and it’s making me even more self conscious then I was before
