Lactation products?

Question

Last time around I had a hard time producing milk, I had to exclusively pump because my kiddo was sick snd in the hospital, so I think that’s why. I want to make sure breastfeeding goes right this time around. Would anyone recommend lactation support products from the start, or only if it seems like I need the help? Any recommendations? Thanks!!

I took fenugreek and it boosted my milk supply like crazy. I know a lot of people don’t recommend it because for some people it can actually decrease their supply, but for me it did wonders, especially in the beginning. 
Also, some foods can help boost your supply— oatmeal, flaxseed, brewer’s yeast are some examples. You can buy a cookie mix or just make them by yourself. 
Finally, make sure you’re eating enough calories (but from good sources, candy doesn’t count 😜), and drink lots and lots of water. 
I breastfed my daughter or 19 months and had a great supply.
