Some reasons people choose to have children:
-to give their life meaning
-for love
- to keep their relationship
- you think babies are cute
-you love kids
-to share your morals / religion / keep family traditions going / carry family name
- it would make you happy
There’s obviously a million more possible reasons for wanting kids, and of course a parent who is devoted to their children is a selfless person.
But are the initial reasons for wanting to have children in the first place selfish?
