Anybody use the pregnancy seat belt? That goes over legs instead of belly?

I wouldn’t risk that. Most of those after market seat belt extenders aren’t crash tested. Even if they are crash tested, it might not even be with your type of car. Same thing with the infant inserts/ car seat toys.

I just wore mine under my belly across the hips.

You need to be cautious with those belts. Only one or two are even crash tested. Moving your seatbelt into a different position can make it more dangerous. Also, in a high impact crash if it fails you will do more damage. Wearing under the bump is recommended.

I bought one and love it! Bought it at 8 weeks just to have it. Started using it at 9 weeks and now I’m 12 weeks 1 day and so glad I have it. I am one that can’t stand to have things on my belly when pregnant. It feels so weird. And winter coming, I live in MN, people drive crazy here like they have never seen snow before 🙄 Even if you put the belt under your belly, that can still affect the baby if in an accident, depending on how far along you are. I’d rather be safe then sorry.

I'd just follow these guidelines...my pregnancy book from the Mayo Clinic suggests just using the regular seatbelt, but making sure that it doesn't go across your belly. Sounds easy enough to me....the pregnancy seatbelt sounds like a gimmick. 🤷‍♀️
