First born while having second

Any advice or experiences on leaving first born while having second baby?

My son will be almost 2 years when I have my second. I’m very nervous since I’m with him constantly. I’ve only left him with family a handful of times and most of the time he’ll be crying for me over any inconvenience (cousins not toy sharing, tripping, bumping into things.) even when my husband takes care of him he’ll randomly call for me throughout the whole time.

Hopefully his grandma will be with him during my hospital stay, and we’re planning on her coming a little earlier so he can get used to her being around since she lives far, but I’m still nervous about those couple of days I’ll be gone. Any advice?
