HELP! Genuinely concerned!

Hello ladies,

So my husband and i are currently doing a long distance relationship because we’re both military so we’re stationed 5 hours away from each other but we see each other atleast once every two weeks sometimes once a month depending on our work schedule. When we were stationed together and living together we were very sexually active like we would get freaky every night, now with us being apart we usually only have sex once every two weeks or once a month and everytime we have sex i start to bleed and sometimes it makes me get a full on period even though i already had my period for that month which causes me to get my period twice or sometimes three times a month. We do have rough sex but we have calmed down a bit since the bleeding started (about 6 months ago) and it doesn’t seem to get better. So I’m not sure if it’s because of us being rough or not. I did see the doctor about it and she pretty much told me that we were just being too rough and i shouldn’t worry about it, but i am worried. I mean it sucks getting your period once out of the month imagine getting it twice or three times. It’s not fun. I’m just curious if this had happened to anyone else or someone you know? Is it normal? And should i be concerned?
