Preeclampsia ?!

They never tell me I have protein in my urine and my blood pressure is always great.. but lately I’ve been going 2-3 lbs a week and getting on and off headaches that Change my vision.. :/ should I worry everytime I bring it up they tell me it’s not that bc I’m 19 first baby and my blood pressure is fine

If you feel you’re not being heard, I’d either see another doctor (which might not be easy at this point in the pregnancy) or head to the ER... because those symptoms are worrisome!

Yes definitely tell them all the symptoms you’re having!! You’re your baby’s advocate. You don’t want to go into preterm labor because of preeclampsia.

So I had it full blown with my son. Headaches, hypertension, swelling on hands and feet/ ankles and I was tired 24/7 because of it and I was put on bed rest for the last 2 months and my son was born at 6# even and healthy as ever. This time I have the onset so far at 33w 1d and also gestational diabetes so it sounds like you have the onset of preeclampsia so I would talk to them and find out all your symptoms because swelling and bp and protein are the #1 tells headaches can be from bp or to much blood flow.

I had the onset of preeclampsia with my last pregnancy and the only symptom I had was the high blood pressure.  This pregnancy my doctor is actually being cautious because of it. But still the same thing, elevated blood pressure and no other symptoms.  If you are worried I would talk to the doctor and see if they can either relieve your fears or even look into them.  It never hurts to talk to the doctor.
