38 weeks

Honestly don’t feel like labour will be happening any time soon. I was having really bad Braxton Hicks the last few weeks but since the weekend I’ve had nothing. Don’t think baby has dropped although my midwife appointment at 36 weeks said baby’s head was engaged and low. Had a scan last Friday and they said baby’s head was really low, could barely see it on the scan.

Due to see the midwife on Thursday but I honestly feel like this baby won’t be making an appearance any time soon. I have no symptoms or signs.

I’m exhausted as I can’t sleep at night so I end up sleeping all morning and then cleaning all afternoon and evening. I’m going for a vbac and they’ve made an appointment for 2 days before my due date to discuss induction but it’s ages away in a different hospital so my husband would need to take time off to drive me.

Can I ask to be examined at 38 week appointment by my midwife? I was supposed to be offered a sweep at 39 weeks but I don’t know if my midwife knows this and they still haven’t sorted my birth plan 😩 getting crazy anxious!
