Collecting colostrum

Hey mamas if you know baby will absolutely be here before 37 weeks when did you plan on starting to collect colostrum.(if that’s something you plan on doing)

Edit: I’ve already spoken with my doctor and she is okay with me starting whenever I feel comfortable. The only thing she has asked is that if I start having contractions that I stop until I see her again. Just doing it so that should I need to supplement while still at the hospital I don’t have to use formula if I don’t have to.
