How quick did you lose weight after giving birth?

I legit have gained like 70 pounds. Not happy and so uncomfortable. How long did it take to lose the weight ladies ? Also will this increase my odds of having to have a c section? No clue just worried and prob overthinking. Help please. TIA xoxo !

I gained 55lbs, lost probably 40 of that in the first few weeks. Was 5lbs under my baby weight by 8 months pp. the gain was mostly swelling and water weight, and breastfeeding took care of the rest.

Like the same day. It is basically all water weight in my experience. Both times I’ve gone home the next day weighing what I did before I got pregnant. With my first I kept losing the weight and became unhealthily skinny. This time I’ve managed to stay at a healthy weight for me. Oh and the first time I gained 80 plus, second I gained 64 pounds

I gained around 25 lb. At my two week wellness check, I was 2 lb lighter than  prepregnancy weight. Thank you breastfeeding. The first week pp, I hadn't lost too much but it was all swelling and fluids. The hospital pumps you with so much fluids that it takes a few days to come off.

With my first I gained 60 + pounds, and with breastfeeding once the baby was born I lost majority of it by 4 months-6 months. I was completely back to my pre pregnancy weight by 9 months because I fell pregnant again; gained 25+ pounds & only lost 10 pounds of that; didn’t breastfed.. Almost 3 years later & still have the baby weight. 🤦🏻‍♀️😫

I gained 50 pounds during my pregnancy and a month and a half out I lost 45 pounds! I literally at 20 pounds over night lol

I gained about 35 pounds.  We were in the hospital for 7 days and by then I had lost all of it.

I put on a lot of weight with my first, I didn’t lose as much as I’d hoped during the birth and it didn’t fall off after. I went back to the gym and ate a lot better. It took about 6 months I think to lose it, then I lost more for my wedding. Pregnant again and put on a lot again, so will need to do the same.
