What brands to get???

I’m pregnant and I’m currently researching brands of CD. Is it worth it to buy used? What brands do you prefer and what type? There’s so much to learn😬

I prefer pockets.  They’re easy to use and wash thoroughly.
For spendy, bugs booty is my favorite
For cheap, alva baby 
I don’t use the alva baby inserts though, I use osocozy infant prefolds or just plain cotton flour sack towels from walmart
I’ve saved a fortune and no rashes for this kiddo anymore

I have alva and some thirsties. Mostly pocket and NONE fit a newborn. Luckily I had a diaper service on the registry and they lent me some that start with an "l". We fold prefolds into them but you could find newborn inserts. Even the newborn thirsties were too small for my baby's skinny behind and legs. Looking forward to the pocket diapers after using covers with prefolds for a while.
Also, pocket diapers, when pre-pocketed, are handy if you have family helping you out.

I use loads of different brands. Some fit better than others on my girl. Buying used is good if you get a good deal as it gives you an opportunity to try different types for less money. Then if any of them dont work for you you can sell them on without having lost any money really. 😊

I use mama koala with Cloth-Eez prefolds as inserts. I also use prefolds with Thirsties covers. I recommend getting prefolds used so that they're already prepped. Covers, I would buy new so that their elastics are not worn

I like pocket diapers best. I have Alva baby, weegreeco, and simple being (all from amazon). I like the first two brands the most. I prefer bamboo inserts over microfiber. But I do use both options and haven’t had any issues.

I personally buy new, but have sold some in the past. I like the pocket style a lot and have a fair amount of bum genius and Charlie banana. I also really like the esembly baby ones. Those are a bit pricier and are all in twos, but they’ve been the best at keeping everything contained IMO.
