Can anyone tell me what this is?

So I’ve been cramping lately and it feels like my period may start. So today I put in a “light” flow tampon just in case I did start. I ended up not starting so when I took the tampon out it was dry. When I took it out, there was like a pale yellow sticky, gooey discharge on very tip top of the tampon (VERY small amount). I don’t have this any other time other than when I think I may start my period and put in a tampon. (Just for reference I have been having sex with the same man (my husband) for over three years and have never had this before, so it can’t be a STI, I’ve also recently had a pelvic exam done at my obgyn)
