VBAC after 1 c-section?

Question

So my consultant has given me the go ahead for a VBAC.
It will be 2 years after having my c-section. 
Has anyone got any stories on their VBAC? Im in 2 minds of what to do, the statistics worry me, but looking for real like experience! ❣️

I had a successful VBAC 28 months post ceaser,
I was induced at 40w with synthetic oxytocin. Had an epidural and still pushed bub out.

Definitely agree with the comment that says advocate for yourself!
VBAC is the best experience! It is so empowering. 
I doubted myself and debated what the right choice was my whole pregnancy and then a few days before my due date a wave came over me like “I got this, I’m doing this” 
You know your body best, if you think you can then try it!

I’ve had two VBACs and it was such a better experience. With my second one, my water broke but contractions just wouldn’t start so they started me on a half does of pitocin. I would talk to your provider about all the “what ifs” so you feel prepared and you agree with them on the course of action.

I have a vbac almost four months ago. The risk of rupture is very small, higher with multiple c-sections. But with just having one. Very small risk. I went with midwives,  I had a completely natural birth no pain medication. And I gave birth in a tub. It was empowering!  How you want to give birth is up to you. Just know that you can have a vbac. Advocate for yourself!
