Why do men do this, ugh

So my hisband always says things like, “so and so get along so good. It must be nice.” “We aren’t even meant for each other.” “I dont know why we are even together.” Okay so leave? Why would he say this bullcrap one day and the next tell me how much he loves me and wants to have a baby?!  I don’t get it at all.
