What age did you own your own house?

I was just curious, I start the process of clearing land for my house next year. We’re building on family land. I’ll be around 25 when we have our house if everything goes to plan! 
This isn’t ment to be offensive and I’m sorry if your age isn’t in the poll. I know some people own their house earlier or even later. 
And that’s fine! I was just curious around about.

Put in the offer on our first house at 19. Closed 9 months later at 20. Planned on it being our forever home.

We were 25. It was an excellent investment! We ended up renting it for 1.5 years after moving out and made good cash flow. Just updated it and put it on the market, closing on it in 2 weeks! We will be netting $175K in profit after renovation costs. Instead of selling right away and moving into a bigger house for your second, I highly recommend renting it and then flipping it later for sale if the numbers work. We don’t have a lot of cash (or help from family) and we were able to do this all ourselves. Good luck!!

Bought my first at 18 and had it for 5yrs. Sold it and bought another one at 26. So I rented for like 2-3yrs in between. I’ve been in this house since 2014 and I couldn’t be happier!
