if you have had mastitis what were your symptoms?

i have sore/tender breasts but nothing too bad. they aren’t red, have lumps, are clogged, etc. but i have fever, chills, body aches. 
i went to the doctor and she checked my breasts and didn’t think it was mastitis. idk what else it would be. she texted me for lots of other things like infections. 
could i just have a mild case causing fever, chills, and aches?

At first I thought I just slept on that boob weird and woke up sore. Later on I developed a high fever. I still didn’t think much of it, I had never had a fever in my life so I didn’t really know what to do lol. Eventually my mom said “if it’s really that high then you should be at the doctor” (she thought I was exaggerating) so I went to the doctor and they put me on antibiotics. But apparently it was so bad they almost had to lance it. So I only had a sore breast and a fever. I would definitely get a second opinion if you’re still uneasy. It’s not something to mess around with.
