Bassinet Strollers

Question

Ok so I’ve never used one. With my older two, I used the whole travel system with the car seat that clicks into the stroller. So my question is-With a bassinet stroller, is it safe to use just the bassinet mode from newborn? The car seat that I got is a 4-in-1 that I love and I don’t really want to buy a whole travel system.

I have this & have been using the bassinet option since day one! Seems much comfier than the car seat

Yes a bassinet should be newborn safe, we use an all in one car seat. We have the uppababy bassinet and stroller and we love it, so does our newborn. He falls alseep in the bassinet right away, and the bassinet is sleep safe so we can leave him to sleep in it after our walk.

Absolutely fine to just use bassinet! We loved ours! I had this one, and it was really nice being able to go from a walk to clipping it onto the stand so he could keep napping. It’s preferable that babies are only in the car seat in the car, so ha I g a bassinet is a great option. I hope it becomes more mainstream in the US.

That's the norm here, most only use the car seat in the car, and the bassinet everywhere else. We even left the hospital after our youngest was born with him in the bassinet, leaving the carseat in the car. So yes it's safe.
