Ideas for breastfeeding mum (sleep)

Emma

We recently transitioned our baby to her own room because I wasn't getting any sleep. To minimize the transition, l nurse her more or less to sleep (side feed) on a big mattress. She sleeps in a lateral positionner for now (recommendd by midwife). Basically she's not in a traditional crib. I'm just wondering whether to transition her to "real" Bed or create a montessori style bed close to the floor. What do you think? I'm guessing at some point she'll have to get used to being placed awakish rather than nursed to sleep at some point. Any idea when that would be easier? (How old,?). What are you planning for your babies). Mine will be 3 months in a week.
