‘No Guests’ Office Policies

I am currently right at 6 weeks and will have my first ultrasound tomorrow. I have had previous losses, which is why my RE is starting scans early.

My practitioner does not allow partners or guests in the room during the procedure. I understand this is a fairly common Covid precaution.

My partner would otherwise be in the room with me and we’re trying to find a way for him to be ‘present’ at the appointment. We are considering a FaceTime call setup on a tripod. Is this the best option? I also have access to my laptop and a Wyze security cam.

How have you dealt with no guest policies? Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated!
