So much hate

I had posted recently today in a group on this app about opening my current relationship up to become poly.

I ONLY got hate comments, just people telling me that they wouldn't when all I was asking for was advice for someone who is new to this type of relationship.

I didnt realize poly relationships got so much hate until I started to open up about mine, my current partner and I have been together since we were 15 and were now long distance (though we see eachother pretty often, just not as often as we used to in high school, maybe once a month.) Well we opened up our relationship and while we're figuring out our boundaries I just wanted to ask for advice and ive only gotten hate. Mostly people telling me poly relationships are for failing couples or not a real relationship 🙃

But! Now that I found the right group, any advice for someone new?
