Babies 15 months apart

Question

I’m due with baby number 2, 15 months after my first! Who has been in a similar situation? What baby gear do I need to buy again and what do I need to think about? I’m already feeling like I’m going to need to get a convertible car seat for baby 1, reuse infant seat for baby 2, and then get 2 rear facings down the line. So much $$!!! And then the stroller situation 🤷🏻‍♀️Looking for any shortcuts and tips I need to know of.

You will have to buy convertible car seats either way so it just makes sense to upgrade your older baby and reuse the infant seat. Personally with them so close in age a double stroller would be a must. Some people will baby wear the little and use the single stroller for the older one. Eventually you might be able to get away with a booster seat for the older one and high chair for the little. I have a cheap safety first travel high chair/booster seat that’s would use for that. Most gear is reusable. Depending on baby you can reuse most clothes. I have a lot of boy clothes I use on my daughter because a friend gave them to us. I don’t really care around the house.
