Pregnancy Cyst?

So, I had my first ultrasound yesterday and was told I have a cyst on my right ovary. It has been irritating me the last few weeks, but I wasn't for sure what it was. My doctor just casually said, "oh yeah, you have a pregnancy cyst." Essentially no big deal. Has anyone else had one and when did it go away? We're there complications from it? Thanks!

I had one around the same time as my first pregnancy. No issues with it, sometimes I’d get some minor cramping with it, but otherwise it just disappeared. Or maybe it popped, I’m not sure, I didn’t notice. 😂

You are supposed to have a cyst. It’s called the corpus luteum. It supports the pregnancy until your placenta takes over around 10-12 weeks.

I had one during my first trimester with my first. It was huge about 10 cm by 7 cm, but it disappeared on its own, pretty much burst I think. 
5 weeks pregnant with my second now, waiting to go for my ultrasound in 2 weeks, don't know if there's another cyst this time.
