Is anyone struggling with behavioural issues with their 4 year old?

I know most of it is normal, but it’s really wearing on me. The constant battles, the automatic defiance, the tantrums. I can’t believe this behaviour is still considered to be on the normal spectrum until they are 5. I am not sure I can handle another year of this. Anyone else out there struggling with this?

I just read yesterday this only becomes a concern around the age of 7.  There has been some struggles with behavior, mostly emotional little breakdowns, but mammas, remember it’s a small “window”  in a lifetime of joy.

The struggle is real!!! My son was born a few weeks before my daughter turned 4 and that has been a huge adjustment in itself. But her attitude.. MAN! The days can be tough!! The worst is when we’re having a great day and then out of no where her attitude and behavior spirals a 180 into tantrum land. It is seriously physically and mentally draining. Hang in there, you’re not alone in the madness!

Personally I found that my 4 year old’s behavior got better shortly before he turned 4. So maybe yours will start turning around soon too. He definitely still has tantrums but they’ve gotten easier to manage, he seems to be learning how to manage his own feelings better. But these are tough years, they learn so much and want to be so independent. And it’s certainly harder with the pandemic.
