Hi ladies , im new to this & have a couple questions ? 
Me and my SO have been trying to have a baby for about a year or so .
I have irregular periods and my SO doesn’t want to use birth control to help regulate my period . I tried to tell him it’ll be fine but we are in it together so I respect his opinion as well since we both are trying to have a baby we are in it together . 
I seen that there’s ovulation medication to help you ovulate . Will those medications help regulate my period since it’s regulating my ovulation ?

Im using clomid for ovulation (doctor prescribed) and it made my period more regular bc mine would come every 50-60 days or so

you could try clomid or letrozole to have ovulation sooner in your cycle so that you have a better chance of conceiving that cycle.

Ovulation induction medications generally only work during that specific cycle. They aren't meant to be used every cycle for a long time. But they can also "shock" your system into ovulating again, depending on what the underlying cause is. That happened to me after using Clomid. My period finally regulated after using Clomid. But it is very a guarantee. You will need to work with a doctor. They will likely need to do some tests to determine the cause.
