Has anyone been with/ is with someone who they’ve broken up with but found themselves getting back together later on? If so what are your stories, and what made you guys get back together?

Yes. My bf and I were together for a year and broke up for 6 months with no contact at all. Not once. I thought we were done for. I texted him drunk one night saying if he ever wanted to have casual sex I would be down. To my shock he said he would be down too. We met up that night and have been together every day since. It’s like a whole new relationship and we are better than we ever have been. That was about 2 years ago.

We’ve been thru hell and back and have broken up a few times. Each time ive been left gutted..an emotional wreck that stops eating, and hes told me how he wouldn’t sleep for days and thought of me nonstop. Ultimately we’ve gotten back together because we love eachother so much and we both want it to work.

Oh yes. Me and my boyfriend of 9 years have broken up multiple times. And surprisingly enough our daughter is what sealed our relationship for the better. We were just so immature and both had a bit of a drinking problem so that didn’t help our problems at all, but once we had our daughter and grew up it has been dandy. 3 years later we bought a house and expecting our second PLANNED child.
