First haircut?

Has anyone been brave enough to get the first haircut yet and how did it go? My little guy looks like he’s wearing a baby toupee 😂 it’s getting in his eyes and totally covers ears and Monday someone told me she’s so cute! I’m worried he won’t cooperate but would love to let someone do a quick scissor trim.

My other two boys had masses of thick curly hair by 6 months this one on the other hand barely anything🤦‍♀️🤣🤣

We did one the day after his first birthday and took him to a kid salon. Just a quick trim to even it up on the sides and shorten the top because his hair grew in kinda funky (he was basically bald until 6 months). He was pretty chill for most of it but lost it a little at the end. Luckily it was over fast!

Tuck was born with a head full! But he had his done at 11 months old & did pretty good but was entertained with dads phone & baby puffs!

We’re not going to cut our girl’s for a while, as we obviously want it to grow out. But when our son was just shy of 1 we got his cut because it was quickly turning into a mullet. He wanted to see himself in the mirror and did really well. His dad sat in the chair with him and the person who cut his hair would let him play with her combs. It was a 10 minute ordeal and that was it!

Yep I cut his hair around 10mo because it was getting in his eyes and over his ears and I didn’t like it. He did well my husband held him and I put baby shark on.

Yes my son got his first ab 6w ago.  And it went fine.  He kept trying to watch lol which didnt work but other than that he did good

You're right he won't corporate but if it needs to be done it needs to be done. Thankfully my sister is a stylist and has 2 boys of her own. She was able to do my sons on her dining room floor. Giving him a sucker while it was happening seemed to help a little.
