Vitamin C?

Hello Ladies 💖 
I’m Currently 6wks & 2 days pregnant. Does anyone know if we are allowed to take Vitamin C? & if so what kind do ya’ll take? I’m so paranoid about getting sick, specially with this whole COVID thing going around 😳😳

This is something to ask your doctor, but personally I would not supplement with extra vitamin C during pregnancy.

So in my last pregnancy I remember reading not to take too much. So I personally don't. But I agree with the ask your Dr.

From what I’ve read, you should get adequate levels of Vitamin C through your prenatal vitamin and a balanced diet.  There are several fruits and veggies that are rich in Vit C.  I’d check with your provider before adding an additional supplement.  It is possible to consume too much of a vitamin, which comes with risks and side effects.

Yes, it’s totally safe! I take the chewable kind. You can also eat lots of oranges and get some orange juice to supplement!

I’m an ivf patient so I see my doc weekly. I asked him if I could take vitamin C I’ve been taking since covid started (on top of the prenatal) and he said certainly.
