My daughter is 9 months now, and she is always fussy. My mom says to make sure I stay with her when she needs me, but everytime I leave her side she cries. My husband and I do not want to stay with her all the time because we want her to become independent. We make sure all of her needs are met, and play with her for a bit of time. Once we leave she throws a big fit and she cries the entire time. Sometimes I just need to run to the restroom or feed myself. We place her in bed when she starts to show signs of sleepiness, but what other strategies did you ladies use to get through this phase?
