Anyone drinking red raspberry leaf tea?

If so, have you used it before? What does it do exactly and if you have had prior sections should you not? Lol

I started it week 38 last pregnancy. Did nothing for me lol, was overdue and had to be induced.
This time I started at 35 weeks and taking it slow. Hoping to just have an easier time when the time comes, not trying to induce or anything.
I also cleared it with my doctor first just to be safe :)

According to research, it doesn’t really do   anything in regards to affecting labor onset or duration. One of the books I read said that if you want tea, might as well have some English Breakfast.

I have been drinking 1 1/2 cup a day of red raspberry leaf tea since the beginning of the second trimester. I have had Braxton Hicks since before that time, and this is my first baby. I was doubling my red raspberry leaf tea intake as of 36 weeks (2 days ago).
Red raspberry leaf tea is supposed to tone the uterus through uterine contractions.
I started eating 75 grams of dates per day at 36 weeks as well, (2 days ago). Dates are supposed to help soften the cervix.
I had my 36 week 2 day appointment today and I am 4 cm dilated and my doctor says my cervix is soft. I’m supposed to take it easy for the next 5 days to try to make it to at least 37 weeks before having this baby. So I will stop using both until after that mark just in case.
I don’t know that either of these items have led to my progress at this time, but I know my second and third trimester have been really comfortable even though I have been having Braxton Hicks every day for months.
At this point I would recommend both of these processes but I am not a medical professional and can only speak about my own experience. Just try to not take them too early I guess.
I also have been utilizing the hypnobabies childbirth program. I was throwing up constantly during the first trimester even with prescription meds.

My midwife is having me start at 36 weeks (next Saturday). 
I’m familiar with it pre-baby, made my periods shorter and painless! Having high hopes for my pregnancy and birth. 🙏🏽
