Bleeding, pain, help

Okay so my boyfriend fingered me earlier and after about 15 minutes he had his whole hand inside of me.. It felt good at the time but when he pulled his hand out it was covered in blood.. It looked more like he'd been putting pressure on a stab wound. I'm so embarrassed and don't know what to do there but I'm also extremely worried, j don't even think I bleed that much on periods, I'm on the pill so it definitely isn't a period .. I just need advice
