Nuvaring

My boyfriend and I had sex on Thursday night and the condom came off inside of me. I’m on the Nuvaring ring and have been for about a year now. I do everything I should. I took my ring out Wednesday morning. I generally get my period 5 days later which would have been yesterday. I’m hoping to get it today, but is there any chance for pregnancy? I wasn’t too worried because I’ve taken my birth control, but my BF is freaking out since I haven’t started. I didn’t think this close to my period it’d be a problem. Any input would be appreciated!
