What to expect- 3rd trimester appts

First time mom here- Can anyone give me an idea of what to expect at third trimester appointments? I know I will get an ultrasound every 4 weeks like I have been because they have been concerned about some numbers. But other than that what should I expect? Blood draws/ tests, internal exams, etc.

For my low-risk pregnancy, they usually weigh me, check baby's heartbeat with a Doppler, measure my bump from pubic bone to top of uterus (the # of centimeters should match the number of weeks +/- 2cm), check my blood pressure, ask if I have any concerns and send me on my way. I think there's one blood draw in the third trimester, mostly to monitor iron levels.
Since the appointment frequency increases in the third trimester, they get pretty monotonous when things are going smoothly 😊 I hope that's the case for you!

Answer

For both of my pregnancy’s in third trimester I switched over to two week prenatal appointments. Same thing as the beginning really besides higher risk patients. They check heart beat still, answer any concerns you have, they have been checking my iron levels bc I was slightly anemic nothing really changes.
