What would you do?

My husband and I work from home and have for the past 4 years!

We love it and love being home together.

But with COVID, business has been way down and we haven’t been making nearly as much as we have in the past and have been relying on government COVID benefits for a few months.

We have a 3 week old baby now and it’s amazing being able to be home together and share the responsibilities!

Today he was offered a job as a sales manager. It’s a $25 an hour job, but it would be a 9-5 office job and he’d be away from home which neither of us is used to.

Part of us thinks it’s an amazing opportunity and great money.

But the other part of us think that the ability to work from home and to be able to spend so much time as a new family is so much better and worth it than the money.

I have anxiety, and I worry about being home alone with a newborn and it makes me sad all of the things he’ll miss out on with the baby.

But I also worry about our lack of income right now.

My husband says he’s good either way. He doesn’t love the idea of the job and it’s not something he’s passionate about, but he agrees that the money is great.

He wants me to make the final call.
